These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ALIKA mobile application and web platform at https://alika.online, operated by Alika Educational & Health Society ("ALIKA", "we", "our", or "us").

By using ALIKA, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About ALIKA

Alika Educational & Health Society is a registered non-profit organization that works to support education by providing scholarships to students in need, facilitating transparent donor contributions, coordinating volunteer-based verification, and maintaining a professional support directory.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

• Accurate information: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• Student applicants: Students applying for scholarships must submit genuine academic records, fee details, and financial background information. For applicants under 18, parent or guardian details are required.
• Account security: If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please notify us immediately at developer.zaidi110@gmail.com.

3. User Guidelines

A. Students & Scholarship Applicants

• All submitted documents — including marksheets, enrollment records, income certificates, and bank details — must be genuine and accurate.
• Submitting forged or misleading documents may result in disqualification, account termination, and recovery of any disbursed funds.
• Submitting an application does not guarantee a scholarship award. Awards are subject to review, verification, and available funding.

B. Sponsors & Donors

• Donations made through ALIKA are voluntary charitable contributions intended to support student education and welfare.
• Donations are processed via our authorized payment gateway. Once a transaction is successfully processed, donations are generally non-refundable, as funds are allocated to beneficiaries and educational institutions.
• Donation receipts will be provided based on the information you supply.

C. Volunteers

• Volunteers agree to carry out assigned verification visits with integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality.
• Volunteers must not demand or accept any fee, tip, or favor from students or their families.
• Verification reports and photos must accurately reflect actual observations.

D. Directory Members

• Professionals listed in the directory must hold valid professional credentials in their respective fields.
• Directory listings are provided for informational and community support purposes.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit fraudulent applications or false documentation.
• Attempt to compromise the security of the application or its systems.
• Use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
• Harass, abuse, or defame other users or ALIKA representatives.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with ALIKA.

5. Intellectual Property

All logos, brand names, designs, and application content associated with ALIKA are the property of Alika Educational & Health Society. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without prior written authorization.

6. Account Termination & Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time through the in-app settings (Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account) or via our web form at https://alika.online/delete-account/.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account if we detect fraudulent activity, submission of false documents, or violation of these Terms.

7. Disclaimer

Our services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we work to maintain reliable service, we do not guarantee that the application will be uninterrupted or error-free. Scholarship awards are at ALIKA's discretion and subject to funding availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Alika Educational & Health Society, its trustees, officers, volunteers, as well as the application developers and technical maintainers, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, data, or funds arising from your use of the service or any technical failures.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.
